Halifax Busker Festival Returns for 32nd Year

A highlight of summer in Nova Scotia, the 32nd annual Halifax Busker Festival takes place on the Halifax Waterfront starting Wednesday August 1 at 5:00 PM through to Monday, August 6, 2018.

Electrifying performers take to multiple stages along the Halifax Waterfront for six days of incredible international and local entertainment including: Hanna Cryle (AUS), Her Majesty’s Secret Circus (USA), Incendia Motus (CAN), Jack Wise (IRE), Nigel Blackstorm (USA), Silver Elvis (CDN) Sam Prest (AUS), Sara Twister (AUS/DEU), Silly People (CDN), The Circus Fireman (AUS) Mighty Mike (CDN) – returning as last year’s People’s Choice Winner and more to be announced soon!

The festival stretches along the waterfront from Historic Properties and the Nathan Green Stage at the Ferry Terminal, to Sackville Landing at the Wave, to the Helipad Stage at Bishop’s Landing. A popular addition in recent years, the East Coast Amusements Midway also returns to the festival with carnival rides and games.

Kids will be excited to see Hasbro’s BEYBLADE BURST on site at the festival. BEYBLADE BURST is launching their National Tour to find Canada’s BEYBLADE BURST Champion who will represent the country at the worlds! BEYBLADE will be onsite for two days only, Saturday, August 4 and Sunday, August 5, at the Sands at Salter on the boardwalk.

The AIR MILES® Reward Program and NBA are also gearing up for the Halifax Busker Festival, with all-day basketball programming, games, entertainment, and meet and greets with NBA talent. Collectors will have additional access to win some sweet prizes and basketball experiences.
